Ingredients

  • 20 zucchini blossoms
  • Flour as needed
  • Butter 50 g
  • Tomato sauce (optional) 200 ml
  • Broth (optional) 50 ml
  • Minced meat 150 g
  • Chopped ham 50 g
  • Bread soaked in milk 1 handful
  • Egg 1
  • Grated Parmesan 1 heaping tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs if needed

Instructions

  1. Clean the blossoms by removing stems, wash and drain.
  2. Mix meat, ham, soaked bread, egg, Parmesan, salt and pepper. Add breadcrumbs if too soft.
  3. Fill each blossom gently.
  4. Dust with flour and cook in melted butter until golden.
  5. Serve as is, or add tomato sauce diluted with broth and cook 10 more minutes.
