Ingredients

  • Green beans 700 g
  • Mortadella 100 g
  • Ground meat 200 g
  • Eggs 3
  • Breadcrumbs to taste
  • Grated Parmesan to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Chili pepper or ginger to taste
  • Parsley to taste
  • Half onion
  • Two garlic cloves
  • Olive oil to taste
  • A little tomato purée
  • Butter to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the green beans and drain them.
  2. Sauté the ground meat with parsley, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt and chili pepper.
  3. Mix the sautéed meat with minced mortadella, Parmesan and beaten eggs; adjust with salt and nutmeg.
  4. Butter a baking tin and coat with breadcrumbs. Arrange the green beans and pour the meat mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle the surface with breadcrumbs, a few spoons of tomato purée and small knobs of butter.
  6. Bake at 200°C (390°F) until firm and well browned.
