Ingredients

  • Butter 120 g
  • Sugar 240 g
  • Flour 300 g
  • Walnuts 100 g
  • Dark chocolate 120 g
  • Eggs 4
  • Milk 1 glass (if needed)
  • Baking powder 1 packet
  • For the glaze: Dark chocolate 150 g
  • Powdered sugar 150 g
  • Butter 30 g

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter, then add the sugar and egg yolks gradually.
  2. Sift together the flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture.
  3. Finely chop the walnuts and chocolate and incorporate them.
  4. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold gently into the batter.
  5. Add a little milk if the mixture is too dense.
  6. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake 1 hour at 200°C (392°F).
  7. Prepare the glaze by melting the chocolate over a bain-marie.
  8. Add the sifted powdered sugar and melted butter.
  9. Spread the warm glaze evenly over the cooled cake.
  10. Let the glaze set completely before slicing.
