Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries 500 g
- Sugar 250 g
- Water 100 ml
- Lemon juice 1/2

- Saucepan
- Spoon
- Blender (optional)
- Fine sieve
- Sterilized bottle
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries, remove stems and cut into pieces
- Place strawberries, water and sugar in a saucepan
- Cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Add lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes
- Blend the mixture (optional)
- Strain through a fine sieve for a smooth syrup
- Pour into a sterilized bottle while still hot and let cool
