Ingredients

  • Heavy cream 800 g
  • Milk 250 g
  • Sugar 200 g
  • Gelatin sheets 12 g
  • Sugar 150 g (for caramel)
  • Water ½ cup (for caramel)

  • Wooden spoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the caramel by cooking sugar and water over medium heat until golden.
  2. Pour the caramel into a loaf mold, coating the bottom and sides.
  3. Soak gelatin sheets in cold water.
  4. Heat cream, milk and sugar for 15 minutes without boiling.
  5. Add drained gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
  6. Pour the mixture into the caramel mold.
  7. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  8. Unmold onto a serving dish and serve with caramel sauce.
