Oven-toasted rice is one of those humble dishes that turn simplicity into pure magic. Crunchy on the outside and tender inside, it’s perfect as a side for meats, vegetables or fish — or enjoyed on its own with a spoonful of gravy or a freshly fried egg. The secret lies in baking it uncovered, allowing the grains to toast gently and develop an amazing nutty aroma. A warm, comforting Italian dish that celebrates the beauty of everyday cooking.
