Ingredients

  • Butter 100 g
  • Dark chocolate 50 g
  • Sugar 220 g
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla sugar 1 packet
  • Flour 140 g
  • Chopped walnuts 100 g

Tools

  • Baking pan
  • Bain-marie pot
  • Wooden spoon
  • Electric beater
  • Aluminum foil
  • Oven

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and butter over a bain-marie.
  2. Remove from heat, add sugar and let cool.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well or mixing with an electric beater.
  4. Add flour and chopped walnuts and mix until combined.
  5. Line a buttered baking pan with aluminum foil and pour in the batter.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at moderate heat for about 30 minutes.
  7. Let cool and cut into squares.
