Ingredients

  • Eggs 3
  • Sugar 300 g
  • All-purpose flour 300 g
  • Fresh ricotta cheese 300 g
  • Grated lemon zest 1
  • Baking powder 1 sachet
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Whisk or blend the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the ricotta and mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the sifted flour, then the grated lemon zest.
  4. Gently fold in the baking powder.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and level the surface.
  6. Bake in a static oven at 150°C (300°F) for about 60 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
