Ingredients

  • Large Kaiser pears 4
  • Butter 1 knob
  • Sugar 4 tablespoons
  • Dry white wine 1 glass
  • Vanilla ice cream 200 g
  • Milk chocolate 70 g

  • Bain-marie saucepan
  • Spoon
  • Knife

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears and cut them in half.
  2. Place them in a pan, sprinkle with sugar and add small knobs of butter.
  3. Pour in the white wine and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
  4. Drain the pears and let them cool.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and keep it warm.
  6. Place four pear halves on serving plates, fill with vanilla ice cream and cover with the remaining halves.
  7. Pour warm chocolate over the pears before serving.
