Ingredients

  • Butter or margarine 150 g
  • Sugar 150 g
  • Eggs 3
  • Vanilla sugar 1 packet
  • Salt a pinch
  • Flour 150 g
  • Potato starch 200 g
  • Baking powder 1 packet
  • Powdered sugar to taste (optional)

  • 24 cm springform pan

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter with the sugar.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, then vanilla sugar and salt.
  3. Sift flour and starch together and add gradually to the mixture.
  4. Add the sifted baking powder last.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 24 cm springform pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 50 minutes.
  7. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
